Geometry and trigonometry are pure black magic ****ery for flat earthers. Your "proof" is no proof for them.

Your antiquated "proof" still seems to assume that "space" exists -- it's all over the right side of that diagram, even though you tried to hide it with a little map!

I think one guy tried to make his own rocket to prove it and almost killed himself.

related. Portrait (He Knew) was inspired by Kerry Livgren's admiration for Einstein. Who knew?

That same YouGov survey found that all of the one in six Americans that do not believe the world is round are deathly afraid to travel outside the USA because of sea monsters and the real possibility of falling off the edge of the earth. Even since the Titanic fell of the edge of the world many have feared boat travel.

Besides, who wants to risk alerting the Galactic Empire and Grand Moff Tarkin? Worse yet what if Supreme Chancellor Palpatine learns of our existence?

That is a myth. It was well understood by educated people that the Earth was round. Isabella's advisors objected because they (rightly) believed that Columbus had severely miscalculated the circumference of the Earth.

Of course uneducated people, then as now, undoubtedly believed in a flat Earth.

How many people were "educated" 500 years ago? Let alone thousands of years ago

11% were literate 500 years ago
