I, for one, love Jerry Jones as the owner of the cowboys. As long as he's still there, they will become more and more of a joke every year. What's next, Jerry? Reality tv contest to be the next head coach? Then again, they couldn't do much worse...
I could do a better job as Head Coach. That one I'd sign up for. I'd bring in some top notch coordinators and crack some heads in the locker room for sure.
I think that's an awesome idea. What will be interesting is to see how good the final winner really is. I think it would be cool if they unveiled a Kurt Warner type guy that was maybe a late bloomer or never really had the opportunity to show what he could do.
I was hoping to find out that Ocho Cinco went to Dallas. A reality show is good enough when's it gonna be airing?
the best i could find, so far. it will premiere in the spring. i'm hoping for another hard knocks... when does hbo announce it?
Id much rather watch a reality show on football than a reality show about twins picking out who they want to shag.
Nope, once Al Davis went senile in the '90s, they became the single best brand in football: the League's answer to the entire AFL, and it worked like a charm. I bet slutty cheerleaders and white home jerseys seemed gimmicky once, too. Pro sports was, is and always will be about TV ratings, and the NFL is still the single most lucrative franchise in all of television. This may be a bit redundant after the HBO miniseries, but on balance I think it makes sense. And I wouldn't be too shocked if Goodell had a hand in it. And they'll win again, eventually.
The idea itself is kinda decent. Its the actual people and team involved that ruins it. If it was someone like Larry Fitzgerald or Torry Holt instead of Irvin I know I'd be more receptive to it.
