When was the last time we had a 1-2 combo that had as many turnovers as Harden and Westbrook had in their careers? I am happy we made a move but I think the team would’ve done better getting a few strong D players like Tucker instead of Westbrook.
The Rockets now have 4 MVPs from the last 3 years. 2017: Harden 2018: Harden 2019: Harden 2017: Westbrook
This actually made more sense than the OP.... which is kinda....... sad. You can't seriously be comparing these two superstar players (given they have their blemishes in their games) to former All-Star Steve Francis and glorified role player Cuttino Mobley. You just can't.
Upsides: Both WB and Harden are better than Cat and Franchise. MDA should be a much better offensive coach than JVG. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
Francis - WE LOVED HIS ENERGY AND EMOTION Cat - WE LOVED HIS SMOOTH LEVEL HEAD AND LEFT GAME Westbrook - A More Talented Version of Francis Harden - A more talented nversion of Cat Francis and Cat - put a scare in to a Laker team with 4 hall of famers on it broken them up for a guy that could not beat Dallas or Utah in the playoffs -or the first round I always felt that Francis and Cat needed more seasons together and seasoning Now we have more seasoned versions of them . . . . HELL F*CK YEA!! If this is Francis/Cat 2.0 I ain't overly mad Rocket River
@The Cat Apparently, Harden and Westbrook are copying something you and Steve Francis did. Good work on that.
Dream Clyde and CB4. And the we added Scottie Quitten. Those were the days. Before RockHEAD or whoever it was saw Dream at Whole Foods and he said he was leaving.
I know there's definitely risk in this maneuver, but when's the last time Cat and Franchise made an all-NBA team? Oh that's right-> never in their entire careers. The parallels are strikingly similar!
In that case, who is this year's Kenny Thomas or Carlos Rogers? How is PJ at playing the Mo Taylor role? Is there a Terence Morris out there?
