    NBA players should take note. If the owners lock them out they can do this and make money.

    Imagine a Champions League of Basketball during the summer with the best 4 teams in the NBA and other leagues.... sort of like FIFA.

    Imagine the money you could make. Imagine if this title meant more than the NBA Finals... Lol.

    You do the draw and such. The drawings could make it a unique scenario and players might be more willing to play for other teams in different countries.

    Just an idea.

    With that kind of cash on the line, I can see serious crime happening. Riots and ref death threats are bound to happen. If you cheat theses ultra competitors out of a years salary, bad things happen.

    lol what? $1M isn't really that much considering there's more at stake in smaller circuit poker games. Even just winning the NBA finals gets the team $2M or so.
