guys just have to hit shots...really not much else to say CP3 is an elite level shooter, he’s shooting 27% from 3 Eric Gordon is at 24% on 8 attempts a game which is horrendous...his hot streak will come eventually Melo is below average shooting 32% on 6 attempts a game...he needs to get his percentage to at least 35% Green is at 27% on 6 attempts a game as a team, we’re taking 42 threes a game and making only 33% of them we are last in the league in field goal percentage, and 25th in 3 point percentage...we can’t even hit free throws, we’re 27th in that category too there’s no way this continues...we are not this bad
Our 3pt shooters suck. Tucker / Harden are the only constant. Gordon????? Ennis- bad CP3- missing Melo- shows up twice a month Clark— May get it ?? Green - streaky Everyone else- sucks Is it just a slump?? I sure hope so.. We need shooters if we ain’t going to play D.
we lost ryno, ariza and luc..they all can hit 3s in regular season. we added melo( like long 2s more than 3s), MCW(brick house builder), anus = luc... EG mentally broken as trade rumor flying around.. As a result, yep we are a worse 3s shooting team than last year's... gotta trade away these new additions scrub for cj miles, korver or love
One of the things I noticed is that a lot of our guys have their shots too flat (2pts and 3pts), definitely need to add much more curve on it. Once the shots are high arcing, then it is time for practice, practice, practice.
We still in game 7. I mean...come on... We are averaging less than 90 points the past 3 games and this is a league where everyone is scoring 110 points a night. WE GOT CHIP KELLYED Mike D is like CHIP Kelly. He was ahead of everyone else, then everyone copied from him, but made it better, and meanwhile...the originality still living in the past
That is on the money. But the guys have got to start playing basketball and run some offense and be aggressive. You got to compete just not act like you are playing nba Jam and look for your favorite spot to shoot from
I said this all last season and i'll say it again. Our offense is completely based on our defense. Indirectly. When we are playing shutdown defense our confidence, shveg, what have you, turns up -- and that's when we hit 3s.
If the question was about his scoring, sure, but simply about 3PT shooting, the guy is doing his job AND more, he’s been excellent in that aspect. He’s played 7 games and made 2+ 3PT in 5/7 games and only not made a 3PT shot in one game. Paul for example hasn’t made a 3PT shot in 3 games and 13 3PA. Last season the longest stretch Paul didn’t make a 3PT shot was 2 games and it was a total of 4 3PA.
