After the Stros game ended, I was looking for another game to watch and the NYY/Boston game was the only choice. "Major League Baseball NEEDS Aaron Judge to be Great". OMG, these guys are homers. Homers with an attitude. I only lasted two innings. I couldn't stand to listen to them any longer.

MLB and the MLBPA have agreed to changes to the operations manual. Starting tomorrow, staff and players must wear face coverings over their nose/mouth at all times and in all places in the stadium except for players on the field. This includes the dugout and bullpen. Everywhere. Teams are required to provide outdoor, covered spaces for the visiting team to minimize time spent indoors. Both teams must also have dedicated spaces where they can observe social distancing during rain delays. Teams must reduce their traveling parties to only personnel who are absolutely essential to playing games. All staff and players must wear face coverings at all times in hotels in the road except for when alone in their rooms Teams were sent memos today outlining the new and enhanced protocols which are effective immediately. They include the risk of being 'prohibited from further participation in the 2020 season' for repeated or flagrant violation of said protocols. The refusal to wear face covering when required to and reminded to do so qualifies for prohibition. The league will send written warnings prior to any action taking place. Other measures effective immediately: -Face coverings required EVERYWHERE. Dugouts, hotels, bullpens, etc. All except field of play -Surgical masks are required on planes and buses. No cloth coverings.
