http://sports.espn.go.com/espn/page2/story?page=greatestgames/050401&num=4 58. 1995 NBA Finals, Game 1: Rockets 120, Magic 118 (OT) Magic guard Nick Anderson missed four straight free throws in the final seconds, Kenny Smith nailed one of his seven 3-pointers to send the game into OT, and Hakeem Olajuwon tipped home the winner with 0.3 seconds left. The Rockets went on to sweep the Magic.
Wasn't this the turning point in Anderson's career...ever since that day didn't he become a shadow of what he used to be?
A few years later he had a year where he averaged like 25 points a game for the second half of the season (highlighted by a game winning three against Shaq and the Lakers). Then, the next year Penny came back from his injury and forced Nick back out of his natural position (SG). He only averaged like 13 that year. His career was pretty much over at that point.
Didn't Anderson also get that steal from Jordan that ended his initial un-retirement season as #45 in the playoffs either that same year or the next?
#1. Titans 22 Bills 16 - Rob Johnson was playing with only one shoe during the final drive and the rest was a damn miracle.
