    I've spent the last seven-plus years and now 25,000 posts here and I wanted to express my thanks to you once again. I know I've been a pain in your ass more than most, but I hope you know that I never meant to disrespect you or your site.

    Thanks as well to the various admins, most of whom we rarely see any more. I miss BrianKagy.

    This site has made it so I basically have not been bored for the past seven years, as evidenced by my post count. Along the way, I've laughed, cried, and became pissed beyond belief...all in the same day. This board was completely and overwhelming supportive when I've gone through the rough spots over this time including the loss of my nephew, family conflicts and the various breakups I couldn't take like a man. :)

    Most of all, I want to thank you for the lifelong friends I've made through this board. I would have never shared stories amongst numerous beers with guys like Buck Turgidson, MadMax, JBIIRockets, RocketmanTex, chievious minniefield, TheFreak, and Drewdog had it not been for this wonderful site. Those are just a sampling of course, but those are the ones in my phone (does Nomar still count?). :) It's insane the number of people I've met from this board from those who lived in the same neighborhood to those from Down Under. I've gotten tickets, discounts on food/beer, and even golf clubs from posters. I've learned so much and like to think I've become a better person over the last few years, in part because of this place. All this because Clutch started a website devoted to the NBA franchise from Houston.

    I have adopted a Zen-like approach to it & have let it go.

    My mental health is better for it.
