The team of refs missed calls against both teams, and more against Houston, in my opinion. Still preferable to 3 other teams of officials with 3 other lead refs. Who refereed the Oakland/LA series last night? I thought they did a pretty decent job. Oakland didn’t get the blatant favoritism they can generally count on, and it seemed to drive them, and their coach, crazy. Needless to say, I enjoyed that. I don’t know if it was an outlier, just a good job (which is what I would hope for), or if the refs got the word from “on high.”

Marc Davis was the lead official.

Also... the power of the Tony Brothers is real:

Thanks for point A. It was an excellent team of refs and I hope we see them again in the next series, whoever we play. Brothers? I lean more towards the guy being “dirty.” If that’s a power, then he certainly has it. He shouldn’t be doing G-League games, much less the NBA playoffs, and he isn’t the only one.

Wow. Brothers has no business reffing games, regular season or the playoffs. Foster shouldn’t, either, Carl. Mauer is in the top 20, another guy i don’t like, but the other two are worse. What the numbers don’t show, of course, is bias.

I'm sure it was an outlier, but I liked it.

It’s pretty bad when an even handed team of refs are outliers. It’s a stain on the Association, in my opinion.
