Lol nothing.... He was being sarcastic about wearing #26, the number of Brandon Harris, one of our backup CBs.

BOB gonna run Miller into the ground http://www.scout.com/nfl/texans/story/1706518-texans-notebook-lamar-miller-being-pushed
Hope it is not a trend, but Miller had about 86 yards on his first 14 or so carries and about 20 yards on his last 14 carries. One game, irrelevant at this point.
I was actually surprised they kept running him. It was when they were just running straight into the line to control the clock. If you aren't using Alfred Blue in that spot why is he on the team? I don't think Miller needs 29 carriers going forward and I hope OBrien will start using Blue or Grimes if all he wants to do is pack the line and run straight forward.

At least he got paid. The new rookie cap really screws RB since they most likely will be used up before their second contract. It seems to be better to be a guy like Lamar Miller who didn't get used in his first 3 years.
Definitely agree with the overall premise, but how does scout.com know what Miller's "comfort zone" is? I thought he came here because he wanted to be a feature back with more carries, not a 3rd down back like he was in Miami? But yeah, I agree we should have spelled him in the 4th quarter a little bit.
Yeah, it was funny reading them saying we shouldn't use him as a between the tackles back. The issue last year was everyone felt like Miami totally underused him. If we stick with the "comfort zone" thing then we overpaid for a guy that is a part time player. That's stupid. They totally should have spread the carries around when it was obvious we were in grind-it-out clock eating mode, but up to that point I was perfectly happy they went with Miller as much as they did.
Also, on those first set of carries, wasnt it a couple times where we had 3rd and long...handed it off to him for like 10+ yards? I could be wrong, but I remember something along those lines where the defense basically played it where they were willing to give up the running yards if it didnt mean a first down pass. Basically, that just boosted Miller's numbers. I think he was definitely getting worn down at the end and he's too small to be taking that load. 18 carries with 3-5 receptions per game seems like good enough workload for him...and I wouldnt want to go more than that.
The run-blocking has been pitiful so far, so I'm really not sure how much of Miller's performance is on him and how much is on the offensive line. One strike against Miller is his lack of skill in breaking tackles.
It's more his vision and lack of patience that is the problem right now. Not seeing the creases well at all. Combine that with very inconsistent blocking and this is what you will get. I'm not too concerned. Think OB/Godsey will soon start to open it up and get him going with some edge plays where he is much more effective.
