    Well, the real trade isn't quite as bad as this, since effectively, we are also getting a large amount of cash savings starting next year, by not having Clowney on the roster at a big price tag. Hopefully we deploy that cash in a smart way. Nonetheless, it's disappointing to lose a true game changer (Clowney) for spare parts and a 3rd round pick.

    Lol you’ve got to be ****ing joking. Oh god my sides hurt from laughing at how pathetic this franchise is. Let’s let the coach who’s on the hot seat trade our best defensive player for a third and two linebackers who may not see playing time.

    We'd have been better off letting Clowney play out the year and then walk for a third round compensatory pick.

    At least now I can spend the season hoping O'Brien gets fired after every week.

    On February 5, 2017, Mingo appeared in Super Bowl LI and recorded two solo tackles as the Patriots defeated the Atlanta Falcons 34–28. Mingo appeared exclusively on special teams during the game and recorded both his tackles while covering punt returns.
