From Adam Wexler's twitter via Adam Caplan of Scout.com(foxsports.com) awexler The 'Skins just scapegoated Suisham...is Texans' Chris Brown next?RT @caplannfl: #Texans will b signing RB Chris Henry off practice squad.
Chris Brown didn't make the play call and isn't a QB. The play wasn't entirely his fault. He should have never been put in that situation. My guess is, Slaton is worse off than we know and Henry is being called up because they don't think Arrian Foster is ready for any significant role.
I am glad their taking a look at younger guys since they know they won't make the playoffs. Chris Henry is very fast for guy who is 230 lbs. I like to see him and Arian Foster get the majority of carries for the rest of the season. They couldn't be a lot worse than what the current Texans running backs are.
I agree... it would seem the best use of the rest of the season to see what some of the younger players can do... not just Foster, but Hill, Caldwell, and more of Casey and Barwin (don't know which of these suit up; but unless they are injured, I'd rather see them get PT rather than the normal starters playing out the string).
Who am I kidding, as if it matters... Texans are a throwing team and can't run the ball to save their lives... Moats or Brown aren't worth picking up in FF...
Is this the same guy that was with the Bengal's not to long ago or am I confusing him with Chris Perry?
You're confusing him with Chris Henry the wideout who still plays for the Bengals (I think he suffered a season-ending injury though ... not sure). This is Chris Henry the running back, who is in fact another Titans castoff.
I'd say Moats isn't bad for a fantasy pick up, although Kubiak doesn't give him nearly enough carries despite being our best rushing carrier this season. Slaton is down for the season, but time will tell if Kubiak will play Chris Brown like he seems to like to do or if he was right and Chris Henry and Foster are actually worst players then Brown. Personally, I can't see how either can be slower then Chris Brown is on most of his actually rushes where he costs us a yard.
