If (when?) Colvin is serviceable in a role on another team can BillyO cut himself?

They just signed him to a prove it deal:

"Here is 8.5 million guaranteed for 1 year Phillip. Now go out there and prove that we are idiots!"

Would it be all that shocking though? A surprise, but not breathtaking.

Now Antonio Brown getting civilly sued for rape and sex assault, that was kind of shocking to read in the Times.

    Best post.

No far of Colvin’s performance but releasing him resulted in a lot of dead money and the Texans better be sure Colvin is worse than whoever they sign off the street.

I think benching him or making him inactive on game day would have sent the message.

The annoying thing is this fake tough guy routine doesn't make sense since we know they had Colvin last year, training camp, and preseason. They knew what they had in him and yet put him out there with the game on the line. if he was bad enough to be cut today he should have been bad enough not to make the team. They had all the information to make that decision before last night.
