    If so, very welcome news.

With Cushing coming back and Ed Reed signing to solidify the secondary we can focus on the offense in the draft.

Nice... Really think we need his mental toughness/attitude on the field as much as anything else he provides. The way this team choked at the end of the season is unacceptable.

    Win now mode baby.

We're still drafting a safety, and I wouldn't rule out the texans using a high pick. Eric Reid maybe?

I imagine it closer to $5 million. I also imagine most of the money being paid this year so they could cut him if necessary next year.

    Two years?

I thought the supposed deal was 12 million dollars over three years.

I wonder if that means we are paying him per year now to compensate the extra year??

    Finally

Can't blame Reed though trying to get as much as he can in the best situation since it's gonna be his last contract

Let us pray that we get as much out of him as they got out of Jacoby Jones in the playoffs!

Thanks for creating a new thread for the news. I appreciate it.

(I'm being serious in case this looks sarcastic in any way)
