Texans sending 8 to Hawaii. I was really hoping to see the ninja Antonio Smith selected. He's had a great season this year.
Wade Smith didn't earn it, I may get ate up for this but imo, J-Jo didn't have a pro-bowl year either.
Probably should have included a link in the OP - http://www.nfl.com/probowl/story/0ap1000000117432/article/2013-pro-bowl-rosters-afc-nfc
I haven't seen an official listing of pro bowlers but I assume Brady, Manning, and Schaub are the AFC QBs? I guess the other options would have been Big Ben, Andy Dalton, and Andrew Luck. To be honest, I'm a bit surprised Schaub made it over Luck and his six or seven comeback victories in the 4th. Also glad our o-line is finally getting some recognition. Probably a few years too late, but well-deserved regardless.
Really happy for Duane Brown. Finally makes a pro bowl and it's as the starter. Huge recognition for him. Long overdue. Sending Arian plus 3/5 of our offensive line to the pro bowl? I know the biggest problems have been on the right side but how can our running game be struggling and so hit and miss with 4 pro bowlers?
Luck has the most INT's in the AFC, he's 17th in completion % and 13th in passer rating. He's thrown for a bunch of yards but that's really the only thing he has on Schaub.
They only take 3 corners and 2 tight ends. I like Kareem and he's improved a lot, but you don't think he's a Top 3 CB in the AFC, do you? I love OD too, but you know Gronkowski is going to be picked and Heath Miller's numbers are more impressive.
