No you speculate the scheme will change. Like you said, we won’t know until they hit the field.

What we do know is that this will be the 5th time BoB has made a coordinator change. Not a single one has come from outside the organization, and not one of them really presented significant scheme changes. I truly hope you are right and maybe you will be, but history tells us otherwise.

Did I STUTTER? We don't know if the offense will change as O'Brien hasn't announced any changes? Why are u bringing up the offense when are talking about defense?

As for Weaver, people who know and talked to him says he likes the Rex Ryan-style of defense. Crennel being a consultant doesn't mean anything but being advisor. Just because you have some one as an advisor, doesn't mean you run the same scheme as that advisor. There are many ex-coaches that are advising on schemes they never exactly ran. Rex Ryan ran a 34, RAC ran a 34.....but they are 2 different schemes. However, 34 is a 34...so knowledge of that defense does cross-over.

And it is smart to take parts of Ryan's scheme and RAC's scheme, then make it your own.

I would love to work for the Texans. What other company rewards you for mediocre (at best) results and not only NOT fire you, but actually promote you for your mediocrity?!?!? My gosh BOB.. you lucky guy, you....

QB's "prime" years start between 25-28.

And we will waste it with BoB getting another 5-year extension for winning our division.
