Cal McNair looking more and more incompetent like another son that inherited a team, Mark Davis. This is what happens when you have an owner that didn’t have to work for his billions of dollars.
I like this. Wasted an entire offseason with major cap space with a team that has a window. Didn't do anything to get better. Hopefully this means Cal doesn't think Obrien should be able to control the team.
Wait. Isn't this what most you wanted? An Owner not afraid to fire and make changes? Cal seems to not be his father.
I’m being told he has had issues with female employees in the past including one he had a relationship with. Just repeating what I was told, but it was known before he was hired as GM.
clanton: "What an embarrassment for the city the Texans are." Also would be the first one to wear a Texans shirt when they get to an AFC title game under Watson.
Shocking but i have a feeling Gaine must have just pissed Cal off... This seems odd to do just because rookies arent looking great in June. Hopefully this becomes a positive.
I would agree with this on the surface, but... Why did it come to this so quickly? Did they give too much power to coach? Possibly. Hopefully Cal is not afraid to make decisions in order to make this franchise top notch. Just seems like he may have been part of the issue from the jump. I have very little faith at the moment and why should I have any faith?
It would be scary if this happened because it would mean our new owner is a train wreck. If you're going to fire the coach you do it at the end of the season when all of the good candidates are still available. Now we would be left with the scraps.
Yikes if true. Things like this just cannot happen. If it’s true it will surely come out. No need for the BS statement if Gaine did something like that. Just come out and blast him and say our organization does not stand for this behavior.
I think it's ridiculous that we couldn't find out what Gaine's plan was before the offseason. If Cal hated it, he could have excoriated or fired him then prior to the draft and free agency.
It's like BOBs the final boss but keeps this ever-churning wall of midboss fall-guys in front of him.
