I agree on the CB issues, hoping some of the young guys step up but that’s a hard position for rookies to strive in.

Not sure I agree with take on pressure though, Mercilus has proven that he is a great pass rusher. The last 2 years he played out of position and he was not utilized correctly. Clowney was great against the run, but he never developed any pass rush moves against lines that could stall his speed rush.

I am looking forward to Tunsil in addition to our 2 rookie guards. That has the potential to be a great nucleus of a line.

    Time will tell.

Yeah, it was worth it, it just sucks because this was all self-inflicted. We have to protect Watson or he'll be retiring at 30 like Luck.

I'm happy about it. I just wish we could have gotten Britt for Clowney. That line would be great then. We could have gone from a bottom three line in the league to top ten in a day.

    At least we're average now.

Texans gave up all that capital for Watson and it paid off.

    I’m good with it.

They should be challenging the Patriots and Chiefs moving forward and those picks will be late first rounders.

problem isn't that the Texans did this, it's that they needed to do this

We'll see about this...Tunsil is a good player but he still has to prove that he can be an elite LT...which is what we paid for...it's going to be very hard building a consistent contender taking gambles like this every other year for needs.

Pretty much sums it up. Well run organizations draft well so are never making desperation moves. We were supposed to fill this need in the draft or in FA

Tunsil by himself is worth next year's first and it's like expediting next years pick onto this years team; the real cost is the following year first and second round pick. I can understand the premium paid and by not losing McKinney and hurting the defense further, I can live with it.

Duane Brown's selfish tantrum has now cost us 3 first round picks to replace him. Tytus and the 2 first rounders used to acquire Tunsil. Between that fiasco and using high picks on Brock Osweiler, we are looking at 5+ young talented players that could otherwise be playing big roles on this team right now. I agree we HAD to do this deal, given Watson's contract still being cheap and given that the division is ours for the taking with Andrew Luck retired. But this is expensive.

Looks at free agency next off season with all that cap room.

There’s a RT by the name of Collins who plays for the Cowboys looking to get paid.

Houston would be a great spot for him.

Texans are done with the line now.

If BOB wants to sell more of our future maybe call up Jerry Jones and try and get Zeke or see if the Chargers are willing to move Gordon. May as well. Just sell the entire farm for like the next 2 years.

Look at our RB depth chart now...it is actual garbage.

Damn who knew we had Trader Bill? I hated the Clowney deal, Hyde is meh now, Crossen who knows, but getting Tunsil is huge. I don't like the costs, that's a lot, but hopefully this solidified our line and protects are franchise QB. Not thrilled with Stills, but after cutting the youngins we needed someone.

Coaches have a lot of work to do before NO. It's clear we're all in, we have a tough schedule, so we'll see what this team can do. The first few games could be tough.

    Um...No.
Bob McNair cost the Texans with his racist ****.

However, Texans may have their line for years now.

Tunsil, Howard, Scharping, Roderick Johnson (eventually at RT), and whatever Center - Martin or Fulton.

    Super Bowl Contender?! LOL No!

This is the pessimistic view but...

-Their RBs are Duke Johnson & Carlos Hyde. (Don't suck but nothing special either ... Browns castoffs)
-WRs outside of Hopkins can't stay healthy
-Julien Davenport & Martinas Rankin sucked but they did not allow 62 sacks between them. Tunsil will help but that's one position. I'm not ready to say "Oh yeah, line is fixed now!" No, the LT position may be fixed. | Laremy Tunsil - Tytus Howard - Nick Martin - Zach Fulton? - Seantrel Henderson
-Watt, Mercilus, Clowney for whatever reason never worked well together but they're gonna miss Clowney. They're plugging Scarlett into his spot.
-Have you seen the secondary (more specifically the corners)?

Forget all that. Forget I even said any of that. Forget it.

    Bill O'Brien is still the coach/GM. That's all. :D
