What grade do u guys give the Texans so far? I give them a solid A. They pretty much addressed everything they needed this year. Surprised with the first WR taken but I won't criticize untill I see him play. There defense is going to be even better then last years. So excited for the season! So what are your grades?

Same grade I give every draft right after they just finished... INC.

To me following the draft is more about seeing the type of players the team likes, what they seem to value in a player, etc. more than addressing needs. And it's impossible to grade that until players actually start playing.

I think they should get a B+ on paper. We won't know for a couple years though. But I like what they did to fill needs and they didn't seem to reach for players.

How about we let them get on the field?

I'll give the Texans a B. I like all of their picks except the WR's they took.

they drafted some needs like WR, OL and a K, and brought Mercilus to an already powerful defense, and some people wont like it, because they didnt pick the big names, but only the time will tell how good or bad the texans did in this draft.

I don't know all of the draftees well enough, but I'm very happy the 1st round pick was a pass rusher. The best way to keep the defense great and help the secondary is to pressure the QB. The Giants have won 2 of the last 5 Super Bowls with a defense keyed by a pass rush. IIRC, they lost 3 starters in their secondary during the preseason and early season, but their pass rush covered up the weaknesses.

The next 4 picks were WRs and linemen, which is exactly what the priority should have been. We just have to wait and see how these guys actually pan out.

    C.

Nothing outside of Ben Jones and Brandon Brooks looked good to me.

FYI, I'm making it my purpose to point out the 'No It All' naysayers come kickoff.

    So... Bandwagoning will be evident.

Really didn't pay much attention to the draft this year as I didn't watch that much college football in 2011. Jared Crick is a very good gamble that late. I like the rotation the Texans have at DE and OLB.

    Time will tell.
