Those people wouldn't be less dead had I not said it and they aren't any more dead that I said it. Obviously it's a tragedy.....but honestly that's just the risk you take living in a Muslim country as a non-Muslim. You might as well be a rabbit living with wolves, it's inevitable, they can't help their nature given the current state of their religion. Hopefully one day the Muslim nations will remember that they were civilized once upon a time (in fact they were civilized well before the "west") and return to that.
Actually it's well said, totally agree on most parts. Though I'm not a huge fan of Egypt but let's not ignore a few facts - the head of Egypt intelligence is a Coptic who was in church - the officer who sacrificed his live was Muslim -the late king of Jordan Hussain once said : if Khumieni is Muslim then this means I'm not. If you think ISIS are Muslims ,then the entire alleged populations in ME or where else are not. - do you remember the news of (Assad will unleash his ISIS to their full potential)! - General Cici/Sisi is not the most brightest person out there, I don't see how he is going to pull that place from chaos
Well for sure, I wasn't suggesting that it was all Muslims, rather that there are just WAY too many bad apples right now so when you get a huge population of Muslims, there are bound to be at least a few. Sadly, a small percentage can ruin it for everyone.
Just so sad. ISIS needs to be wiped off the face of the earth and it's followers need to experience the eye for an eye type of suffering for their crimes.
Just stop with that meme now, it's not helpful in the least. ISIS represents the worst of Islam and of religion.
Don't have to be non-muslim for that, these guys are killing everyone that doesn't agree with their actions and ideology.
Do you really think that the terror and persecution against non-Muslims in Egypt, specifically the Copts, started with ISIS? Do you realize that Egypt was once a predominantly Christian country? It's unfortunately wishful thinking to think "Islam good, ISIS bad". Lots of connected tissue there. This has lots of gaps, but you will see that this has been going on long before ISIS: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Persecution_of_Copts
King Hussein died in *1999* -- back when al-Baghdadi was still a quiet kid in a mosque in Tobchi and was still calling himself al-Badri.
That's not relevant to my comment. We can go back and forth about religious atrocities and how countries, especially those like Egypt, undergo transformations over their long history. Africa once had the most powerful kingdoms, which were Christian, in the world at one point. Putting words in my mouth? Islam is neither good or bad, just like Christianity. Religion is all about how it is being practiced. Funny how Islam wasn't a big deal essentially from the 18th century up until the late 1960s/early 1970s..... Wonder what changed....? Again... not relevant to my comment about your snide "religion of peace" comment. It's just not a helpful comment and only reinforces that divide that emboldens your real enemy while adding to their ranks.
Islam is not "just like Christianity". Islam is the motherlode of bad ideas, starting with its founder, who was a child-raping warlord.
Yawn. Therefore, anyone who practices Islam is a child raping baddie? People like you embolden the very people you despise. You'll never be able to answer where the big bad Islam was pre- 1970s because it doesn't match up to your narrow view. Too many atrocities committed in the name of Jesus to have any sort of high ground by you.
Um...my point is that he probably wouldn't be talking about ISIS years before they ever existed. And, shukran.
Nope - do not put words in my mouth that came from you. I have answered that numerous times. If you choose to remain ignorant, then that is your problem. Islam was violent, supremacist, misogynist and blood-thirsty from its inception, starting with its founder. Over the centuries, atrocities were committed in its name, most definitely also pre-1970s. The fact that atrocities were committed in the name of other religions as well does not change that.
