    I remember reading this back then...very sad indeed and seeing bravery at such a young age.

    Nothing wrong with revisiting an older story about a heroic act. We spend far too much time concentrating on the few horrible acts and forget the heroism that goes on around us on a daily basis. It might be something as powerful as this or something as simple as a person mentoring a child. These things get forgotten about since they aren't as sensational other depressing stories.

    A guy in Syria, I do believe, did the same thing recently. He saw the 2nd suicide bomber and left his daughter to jump on the guy.
