I think i know this answer, especially given #entiteldbitch. However... now that Kevin Love has withdrawn from Team USA in the 2014 World Cup, Chandler's chances of making it are a bit better. Chandler Parsons put in 3 solid years here. He was a fan favorite and this opportunity to play in Team USA is based on what he has done as a Houston Rockets. Want to get a sense of how the fan base feels about him as a potential part of Team USA.
If you been a rockets fan since morey's tenure you know you cant get a attach to anyone. So take take this righteous L and evolutionize.
Mods, can you do something to curtail the Chandler Parsons fetish? It's completely out of hand. Maybe shove 'em all into one thread.
I don't really care... I mean I will be rooting for the USA so I guess he will be a part of it. And why are we still talking about him so much?
Didn't want this to be another "pile of Chandler" thread. I think its a genuinely interesting question. The conventional thought is that we'll be rooting for Team USA, as you said. So where does the fan base stand with the conflict between rooting for Team USA and current perception of Parsons?
Happy for him. We got a second round pick that turned out really really well for 3 years. Sucks we couldn't keep him, but them's the breaks. Rooting for the guy
Don't really care how he does to be honest, and that is how I voted on this poll. Here is how people will perceive it though. 1.He does well: Cfans will go crazy by saying "we messed up. We let one go. Way to go Morey. We should have paid that man" and so on , you get my drift. 2.He does bad: People will say "he wasn't worth the money, glad he's gone, haha, parsons sucks" and so on. At the end of the day, he is representing team USA, and as an American I hope the "Team" does well, not just Chandler, but I could care less if he performs well or not. Reason being; He proved he is talented, and we know he can play, but he is no longer a Rocket, so I could care less about him as an individual player. It's about our Rockets, and the replacement Trevor will earn his keep and make us forget about CP.
Tired of reading about the Mavs/Parsons on here. I thought Houston people were better than this. Looking pathetic at the moment.
We're on a discussion board (hence discussion), talking about an NBA player (on the NBA dish), regarding a topic that's relevant (Team USA camp is next week). Not being able to read or talk about Chandler under these circumstances just because he's a former Rocket is like people who can't even bear to hear their ex's name.
I'm a fan of Team USA, so I hope that we haven't sunk so low that Parsons actually makes the final 12 man roster.
I'm sure he'll make it, team USA needs someone handsum to be the face of the country lol Orrrrrrr they could use him as a water boy/ end of the bench guy
