Found this video from 6 years ago(gotdamn time flies) the last minute between the Scola, Dragic, Parsons Rockets vs the Harden, Westbrook, Durant Thunder.
Pretty dope game, I believe we were down double digits with just minutes to go when Parsons, Lee and Dragic scrapped their way back to this comeback win.
I still remember Bill Worrels reaction "LOOK AT THAT BENCH"

That Harden contest...Lol. Still does it to this day. Moves to the side and then late. Just so fundamentally poor.

Excellent D from Parsons though. I remember him locking Kobe and Durant down on a possession basis that year.

Parsons was much more athletic his first year than any year after. Could've used it in the Blazers series a couple years down the road.

Courtney Lee would look so good on this squad.

I miss young Chandler Parsons. He was just happy to be on the floor.

His confidence turned into arrogance, now he's dead.

That was my low key favorite group of rockets in the past while

Dragic, Lee, Scola, Non-douche Parsons played their hearts out every game

That team was fun to root for! No all stars just a bunch of scrappy vets and a few young bloods who werent afraid of the pressure. Kobe praised Parsons after one of their games in Los Angeles, Lowry and Dragic guard combo was fun to watch. Scola was still scooping them dudes down the paint. C- Lee was such a scrappy dude, hustling for every damn loose ball, made some clutch shots when needed. Shame we ended that season so poorly.

Six three-point attempts in the 3rd and seven in the 4th? Were we even trying to score?

    Wow. So many thoughts.

Loved that team, no doubt. The Rockets teams around that time period were always scrappy and played their hearts out.

But it makes me so thankful for the talent level on our team now. Night and day difference.

I will admit when I am wrong, and I was very much against MDA when we hired him. I thought we needed a more defensive minded coach. But I am so thankful for him as our coach over McHale as well.

And finally, they look so young. Westbrook especially. He looks like a kid out there

Lmao at Westbrook driving to the paint with 16 seconds left on the shot clock and up by 2 then turns it over.

Haha look how far James has come on defense. He just sort of floated around and lost his man multiple times. A traffic cone would have been better - at least it wouldn't confuse the other guys as to who he was supposed to be "guarding."

Compare that (and his first couple years as a Rocket) to where he is now. He went from bottom of the barrel to above average.

    Keep hoopin', James.

Seeing Harden play so passively feels bizarre. Dude doesn't even get the last shot? It feels disgusting now, but back then I get it.

It was the last time he ever faced the Rockets.
