Im sorry to start this thread as i am new. This might be the worst topic to discuss, when your a struggling team thats fighting for a playoff spot. If houston has all these issues, why not retool and wait until next year. Houston should just pull it starters out and start giving these rookies some go. A team of Capela, Dmo, Dekker, McDaniels, GueLock, Harrell or whoever they have in D-League could get some develop time, and still be very much fun to watch. Why would you want to face Warriors,Spurs with this roster anyways??? Spoiler No Flaming
i'd much rather finish #9 and have the 12th pick rather than finish #8 and have no pick. bigger picture: i'd much rather rebuild through the draft completely. doesn't matter because les won't allow either.
didnt need to tank but after asb they could've hired a real coach, make some trades, and work for the next season. give everyone on the team a chance to prove themselves. see what works, get everyone familiar with the new system as best they can in limitted time, etc. that would've been swell instead they're doing this thing thats ****in horrible. i cant wait for the offseason. it wll determine if the rockets are serious about fixing this team or gonna continue going full retrad. they dont have to make themselves contenders, just use their brains. i wouldnt mind dropping out of the playoffs, it would assure we have two young mid round picks with dekker and hwoever this years draft. and instead of letting them rot on the bench, we can see what the inexperienced players can do.
I'd much rather keep our first round pick than watch this lousy squad get dominated in the first round by either the Warriors or the Spurs.

Damn i remember having nightmares about that 14th pick back in they day. It was so bizarre but i miss being the underdog . pick 14 it is!
