I played against this kid two years ago. He was sooooo bad. I'm 5'10, 210 lb and I dominated the paint against him. Not even kidding or exaggerating. With my lower center of gravity I could literally push him out.

Granted, that was two years ago--I was 21 and he was just a freshman/I believe summer after 8th grade. He was maybe 6'11 then.

Hope he gets better. Lot of potential, but man he used to be sooooooo bad

I think He can make it if he don't put on to much weight on his knees.

    Those glasses tho.

He needs to bench, or else I'm not impressed.

This kid is really smart or has some really smart people guiding him! TACO! Wow if he's any good at all he'll have some endorsement deals lined up before he even gets out of college! If I have another son, I'm going to name him NIKE, NUGGET, or CHEVY! Who knows maybe I'll be able to retire living in the the French Alps...

I wish the kid well, and I hope he's able to capitalize on his height, but honestly, I think he's going to have the same problems that all these extra tall players have! His body is going to give out on him a lot sooner in his career (if he has one) because of the extra pressure on his knee's, back, and feet! I hope I'm wrong and he ends up being a phenomenal player! I can just hear the Barkley/Shaq/Kenny say it's "Taco Time" on TNT...

I'd take him straight to Europe to start playing pro ball and get a knee checkup every 6 months. Use the money from playing in Europe to hire an unemployed NBA big man coach. Someone who'll teach him to bulk up his lower body, NBA post moves and big man defense. Wait until eligible for NBA draft, get in ASAP.

This last year or two of high school is a total waste of time for him. He's just putting wear and tear on his knees without actually developing at all.

There is likely nothing this family is doing to make it worth living where they are for the next year or two. There is no college degree worth getting right now that he can't get later on.

With big men you have to start the development early otherwise you take a big risk. Smaller players can learn how to dribble and penetrate. Big men don't get to test their interior skills in high school or sometimes even college.

Looks like he'd have to put in a lot of work just getting his body right and doing cordination training.

looks to be knock kneed (makes it harder to squat and can cause joint problems especially at his height) and hopefully he can cut down on the travelling

    Steve Urkel on growth hormone.
Those glasses make him look really geeky on the court.
    Get some cool goggles, dude!

That kid isn't even a Division II college prospect. Sorry.
