Swedish music festivals hit by reports of rapes by 'migrants'

I still don't get the point of all these anti Muslim threads. So are we supposed to start a new crusades or something?

 

Just close borders until they sort out their own countries, I guess.

AroundTheWorld and RocketsLegend appear to be the children of Muslim immigrants that find it necessary to resent their heritage and religion to cope with being picked on their whole lives.

 

Those refugee camps are festering boils that needs some love and attention if locals don't want them to pop.

It's a limbo status where people get neither employment nor training, so the young and restless idle around until they pull this kind of crap. They're more likely to get away with it as bureaucrats and officials on the ground don't want the situation to get even more complex.

The initial gesture of letting refugees in was a great exercise of humanity, but the ongoing costs of integration will take another round of public commitment and expectations setting.

Not a cut and dry situation no manner where you slice it.

The media and politicians often times don't admit it is a legitimate problem. As a result many people are not aware.

 

It can be cut and dry, send them back. If society is aware of the cost and effort to keep the refugees and decides it is with it; great. If not, send them back. There was no obligation to take them or support them...but keeping them in limbo isn't right either. **** or get off the pot.

No doubt host nations are more than eager for repatriation, but with fighting still ongoing in Syria, the optics look terrible all over for ruling parties.

I think that's the best answer as they're in no shape or capacity to handle such a large influx of refugees. Maybe that same number over a wildly optimistic span of ten years.

I wouldn't doubt that this could happen due to refugees, actually it wouldn't surprise me that some of them would do this but this is a really bad piece with fragmented information.

Hopefully they are able to come to a definitive conclusion on the perpetrators and catch them.

 

There's a murder going on every 60 seconds globally. That comes to roughly 1,440 murders a day. There are over 1,800 rapes daily globally. Those are only the ones that are reported. Most do not involve Islam or religion for that matter. Just boring old murder and rape. I do not see posts discussing these other daily atrocities on this BBS. Just the same Islam stuff with the same rhetoric from the same posters that reply to threads like these. It gets old.

And given that we have a population of over 7 billion strong, those daily numbers while tragic, are pretty good when you look at how big the human population is.

 

You're nitpicking a 17 year old sexual assault victim's comment? Her statement makes sense. First it was probably easy for her to realize they weren't Swedish. Second she said they were probably immigrants. She then implied that it may not be what people want to hear, but it's the truth. Now if she stopped there, she would be jumped on because she doesn't know it's the truth. She added 'probably'.
