I live in Eastern Texas, and our weather forecast is for seven days and seven nights of "thunderstorms." Most days and nights have a 80% or higher chance. I just don't see the weather maps supporting that. Your forecast in Houston is very similar. What do your "weather guys" think?
They are saying 80% around here, but I don't see squat on the radar. Partly to mostly sunny where I am at.
Exactly, I have checked this week's weather maps from Intellicast and I am not corroborating the forecast. I am an amateur of course but still.
mine too. Thunderstorm last night tripped a breaker for part of my house early this morning around 4.
Yeah, it was really strange. Tried to turn on a light in the living room and it didn't come on. I thought it was just a burned out bulb...but it was out in a couple of other rooms too.
It isn't wrong... and don't call us Shirley. I was golfing in east Texas over the weekend, but we luckily dodged all the rain.
The weather is never right for where I am (College Station). Every time weather.com or something said there's going to be 100% rain, it's always only cloudy.
Look in the Austin paper this morning: cloudy and chance of rain next 5 days. 8AM: sunshine Look at Weather Underground: sunshine for next 5 days.
Last Thursday Local TV in Austin and Weather Underground showed thunderstorms up until this Thursday. It was totally off the mark.
Meteorologist and politicians lie about their job 90% of the time and they still get to keep them.
