http://www.nba.com/2009/news/03/18/outdoor.game.ap/index.html I missed last year's preseason outdoor game, so this will be fun to watch. Also it'll be interesting to see if the players can adjust their shot to the course of the wind.
Just read that Captain Jack is suspended for two exhibition games for, allegedly, fouling out on purpose. Seems like he desperately wants out of GS.
I don't think anybody thought he'd be playing this well. Plus, it's still preseason. He can come back to earth any day now.
Reggie just called MLB players sissies. LOL The Rockies and Phillies game was postponed due to cold weather.
So instead of signing a proven winner, we should have signed a guy who hasn't proven anything and is probably an even bigger defensive liability? Solid logic.
Terrible officiating, blown calls left and right that make Terry Cuzzi look like Ed Hochuli. Also more shots off than usual due to wind. Lots of sloppy mistakes, like most preseason games.
proven winner in Euro/foreign basketball = zilch in the NBA Andersen is starting from ground zero, and judging from his play in the preseason, he's got a lot of ground to cover. Not that I'm enamored in getting Frye either, other then minor differences, Andersen and Frye are a wash to me.
All I'm saying is that I'd rather have a guy who has won multiple championships and has been the MVP of a league overseas than a guy who has gotten worse every single season of his NBA career.
I saw the box score from yesterday and saw he played like 6 mins and fouled out. I was wondering if it was intentional and had some thing to do with his trade demands. If he wants off of the Warriors, that's the way to do it.
Maybe you need to read my post from the summer. I said it too many times and all i had was guys throwing stats up talking about this and that. The guy played well as a rookie, not so when he was hurt the next yr, then he was traded to a team loaded at his position.
