    This is by far THE BEST summer, or year for that matter, for concerts I have ever witnessed. As a rock -n- roll fan, I am in absolute heaven. Here are the shows I will be checking out (so far!):

    Motley Crue/Megadeth/Anthrax San Antonio
    Poison/Cinderella/Dokken/Slaughter Houston
    Def Leppard San Antonio
    Iron Maiden/Queensryche/Rob Halford San Antonio
    AC/DC Houston

    My ears are going to be ringing the rest of the year!

    I got tickets to Bob Dylan and Phil Lesh July 25th. I saw Dylan 3 years ago for the first time, best concert I have ever seen (and I have seen many) I can't wait.

    I'd like to see the Black Crowes with Jimmy Page and Dave Matthews is always cool, but damn concerts are so much money! Unfortunately, all the cool jazz shows won't be here until the fall.

    I've got tickets for System of a Down, PowerMan5000, Kid Rock, Korn, and Metallica at Texas Stadium on the field.

    I'd love to get to that Crue show in H-Town. Is Tommy Lee still the drummer or what?

    Lynus -- no, Tommy Lee has left the Crue to pursue a career as a gangsta rapper. Their current drummer is long-time Ozzy Osbourne drummer Randy Castillo.

    Incidentally, Randy is currently recovering from stomach surgery. He's supposed to miss the first couple of weeks of the tour. Filling in for him during that time is Samantha Maloney from Hole! How cool is that? I wish I could see her when I go, but I think Castillo will be back by then. Maybe Courtney Love will come out and jam with them for a few songs! Girls, Girls, Girls...

    Going to see Dave Matthews on the 12th and 13th of September at the Woodlands.

    I have two tickets to the two Dallas shows as well, but I'm going to see UT/Stanford, if anyone is interested.

    Rage Against the Machine and the Beastie Boys have just announced they will be touring together this summer. The dates are here.I'm going to catch them at Foxboro Stadium. Can't wait. [​IMG]
