Thats my email to them. I live in the Lake Charles area they have to know there are TONS of Rockets/ Astros/ Texans fans out here because Houston is the closest major sports city and lots of transplants here including me. I have nothing but good things to say about Suddenlink only reason I switched TV service was for NFL Sunday ticket.

As it turns out, if I do a search with the terms 'comcast houston' and 'suddenlink,' this thread is the first result in Google.

Suddenlink - You better get Comcast Sportsnet Houston! We're all watching.

I'd like to encourage everyone who has Suddenlink to switch to another cable company if Suddenlink decides to deny you Rockets games. You can probably switch to a company that actually carries the games.

I live in the Beaumont area and have Time Warner.

Are they going to Rockets games this season or not?

Where are the games going to be shown?

I always got the ones on Fox Sports but not the ones shown on local Houston channels...

I live in Rockdale TX. I have no idea what to do now that Suddenlink won't be showing the Rockets. I would switch to satalite if I new if Dish or DTV has it. Any idea when we find out when this gets resolved?

Why are people emailing providers and demand that they cave?

Why not reach out to the Rockets (part owner of the channel) and demand that CSN LOWERS ITS DAMAND?

It's easier to influence people that you're directly giving money to.

I only signed up for Suddenlink because they've had Houston Rockets games for the time I've lived here.

Not sure what my options are in Conroe, as I don't think we have Comcast up here yet.... DISH and DTV don't seem like a good solution as it's an extra $20 or so per month for the package that includes the local sports channel, and if they count FSNHouston as it then could be more to get a second local sports channel...

Soo.. Is this just a hope and a prayer?

If we don't get pre-season games, I may cave and buy League Pass..

But I wouldn't wanna buy LP and then Suddenlink all of a sudden show Rockets games.

If you are in the Rockets "territory," Rockets games will likely be "blacked out" even if you buy League Pass.

What does this mean?? Games being blacked out?? If I'm in Houston and I order league pass, why wouldn't I be able to watch the games??

Because you are in the local area. All sports are like that. It'll be blacked out.

Meaning...You can't watch any Rockets games on league pass.

I for one, would never spend the dough on league pass. Only way I'd watch the Rockets is on firstrowsports.eu or on Suddenlink. :(
