The nerdy guy with little to NO shot at the hot exotic girl ends up impressing her and riding off into the sunset with the hottie.
You can get shot/stabbed/decapitated an infinite amount of times. You still get 30-60 seconds to get your word out, no matter how badly you are bleeding out...

It doesn't matter if the action hero is in his 60's, his love interest for the picture will be no older than 29. Even if his character is down on his luck financially somehow his "ruggedness" and "sense of honor" will attract some young hottie

20 vs 1 in a fight but for some reason the 20 guys never gang up on him at once. Instead they choose to fight him 1 at a time.
The protagonist gets beaten to near death but somehow makes a comeback and beats the bad guy so fast. This happens alot in movies by Jet Li, Jackie Chan, Sylvester Stallone...basically martial arts movies.
The one driving the car is always the one jumping out the window to another car.....saying "take the wheel". either you should be in the damn passenger seat....or let them jump.
