Oh African Americans should choose Trump over Biden, how much mental gymnastics must be involved to come to this logic?

 

He has done more for them than other recent presidents contrary to main stream media belief.

Apparently Trump had something to do with black unemployment. I haven't heard an answer of specifically what he did that was different than previous administrations.

One thing he's certainly worsened is the relation between African Americans and law enforcement. He praises police brutality.

 

This is trump mkt bs. But, hey, enlighten us fools. What has he done more than other recent presidents? Lay it out.

 

She woke. Democrats treat the black vote as chattel for something they did 50 years ago.

 

- black unemployment and wages have improved
- school choice and vouchers increase
- prison reform
- police violence executive order
- energy jobs and apprenticeship focus which will help blacks
- increased funding to HBCUs

 

Obama did this, he reversed a trend that was getting worse under Bush.

That's if you think vouchers are a good thing. I think there are a lot of good arguments that school vouchers are a bad thing.

This is the only thing I will give him credit for.

This does little next to nothing and he reversed an Obama EO for what reason exactly?

A good thing but a lot of these, IIRC are loans. It's a good thing but I don't think it's anything to make me say Trump has done more for black americans than any other president.

 

Republicans treat the black vote as nothing and concede it to the Democrats. Recently, they treat the black vote as something that should be suppressed and not counted...so not sure how that is much better.

 

Everything here is marketing BS to me except for maybe prison reform and HBCUs. I don’t know what those are. What are they?

Republican as a bloc do not care about blacks. Instead of white lives matter (of course it does), if they said something about white care and actually do care, they can make some in road. Instead, they shown no care, are actively suppressing the black votes, and has a leader that is racist, unknowingly or not.

 

The interesting thing to me is like I always say, they should be doing a lot better. Socially, on average, African Americans are super religious, christians, they should be doing a lot better.

The reason they don't is because they have no outreach and seem not to care at all.

I will say Trump has done better with that than most GOP presidents but his issue is he then flups it all up by saying dumb things like 'Both Sides' and 'When the looting starts the shooting starts'.

 

Republicans have done nothing other than maintain status quo. I can manage that for a decade or two, but there come a point as a species, we must move forward.

 

It should be but you know, sometime you can't help yourself and be what you were taught by society and your in-group.

We all know how black feels about police brutality and treatment toward black. How do you expect black to feel when Trump played the flag against a completely peaceful protest calling attention to police brutality and the right continue falling into that bandwagon (but now, with political regret)?
