Friend of mine saw Stevie at La Berge du Lac on Saturday playing huge money on roulette. He was on his phone the entire time (which we all know is a big no no in a casino, but I guess they don't care when it comes to the Franchise). He had a couple of guys with him who he would just hand his winnings to. He told one girl to walk over and he kissed her on the cheek. She then walked over to her boyfriend and Stevie's boys started giving him a hard time for hitting on a girl with a boyfriend.

So I guess Stevie has pretty much packed it in this season.

Jesus the guy can't enjoy himself? Its not like he is gonna play. Even if he was a starter I wouldn't sweat it. When he starts getting back from Vegas a few hours before game 6 of the finals (Rodman) then maybe I'd worry. Unless he produces.

Considering Steve isn't exactly earning his paycheck, it would be more appropriate if he gave back his gambling earning to the Rockets.

dang people - im not a fan of his game, but why call him names for going out at night? just b/c he is "injured" doesnt mean he cant leave his house.

if this was going on during a game than that would be a different story, but you cant fault him for this.

tendonitis calls for surgery in severe cases. Heck D-Wade had surgery for his tendonitis and so have several other basketball players. I would agree that if Franchise has surgery that it will take him 8-10 months to recover. I have even heard it takes up to 2 years to fully come back and then the surgery isn't 100 percent that it will make it better. What the doctor does is makes cuts along the length of the tendon to relieve pressure off the muscle underneath or completely removes the tendon sheath.

I believe Mary Decker our best female distance runner in the 80's had this done on her achilles tendon because her muscle basically outgrew the sheath and was causing severe pain and she couldn't run anymore.

What does it matter. Francis was listed as DNP and inactive so what he does in his free time is his business. By the way, he wasn't in Vegas. He was in Lake Charles Louisiana.

I know where it's at I have been there plenty of times, maybe Steve does not need to travel and he can stay home and train but why is he out and not home watching his teammates?
