207 million supermax vs. 127 million max

idek how you necessarily trade John Wall and get back close to equal value. almost every team already has a PG these days. seems like they are stuck with him for better or worse. Bradley Beal on the other hand is a very attractive asset at a position of need for most teams.

Clippers would've been my choice but that kind of hurts them in the Kawhi sweepstakes. Right now, 12, 13, and Tobias Harris is a very appealing package.

Sixers and Hornets make a ton of sense for Gordon.

Gordon to Sixers for Bayless and #10. Rockets Buy out Bayless.

Gordon and cash to Charlotte for Lamb, Malik Monk and #11. Rockets buy out Lamb.

Are the Rockets looking to trade for a pick? Yep, they explore options every year.
Are they going to? Not holding my breath.

Clippers would be 16-17 Rockets, except with Tobias Harris instead of James Harden. No, I don't think Jerry West is going to be super high on that.

In terms of team needs, Philly makes the most sense to me. EG gives them what JJ did, with more defense, some ball-handling/creating, and cheaper.

Eric Gordon, Ryan Anderson to Philly ($32 million ish outgoing) for Robert Covington, Jerryd Bayless, #10 pick ($19 million ish incoming).

Not sure it really helps either team, but if you knew Lebron wasn't coming I'd do it as the Rockets for sure. Allows you to potentially S&T Ariza for something if you want. Get "lucky" at 10.

Philly does it just on a bet on spacing....

You don't get close to equal value, but do you cripple your franchise with a declining star? Or do you go forward with a 24yo that looks to be a superstar on the brink of explosion?

no he wasn't. other than the back spasms in february, there weren't any issues. he missed a few games bc of illness and rest. other than that he would of played 70+ games this season. in addition to every single playoff game. which is alot more than you can say about the majority of the league these days. thats not considered "really injury prone". nothing of his knees or legs were an issue this year. stop making stuff up

Honestly, if they could give up a pick for Gordon and then somehow get Kawhi through trading away a couple of guys + picks that team would be super competitive and a definite playoff team. They wouldn't beat Golden State though.

Anyway we can get that 4 pick from the grizzlies? I’d take Parsons if he magically went back to his old form if it meant we got Bagley or Bamba with him

If it happens, it is most likely going to be part of a bigger trade that would include the Rockets making the pick for the Cavs in the LB deal.

Morey is just not going to trade one of our best players for a pick. LMaO
