Steve Kerr has pushed this type of defense for years. If people remember he was with the Spurs in 2002-2003
when Bruce Bowen pulled this garbage with Kobe and Vince Carter.

Then Zaza Pachulia and the warriors doing that against Kawhi and now trying to injure Harden.

If its not called and Harden or Paul injured they should send Nene in to knock Curry's pretty face in.

MDA should have made adjustments at halftime by employing the same strategy on Klay and Steph, let’s see how their weak ankles hold up. If Rockets played that way, both Klay and Steph would have needed an MRI after game 1.

I don’t condone hurting players but pretty much this. Not as a strategy to hurt the ut just because that’s the way the game was being called. It’s harder to make shots when you’re concerned about your landing zone.

I wondered why our squad didnt try that in the second half, like seriously **** them go for their legs and if they call it the refs will be forced to call it on the other end.

They are laying the bait for the rockets to argue with the refs and they know it pisses people off including MDA who got the tech after cp3 got the tech.

They got rockets off their game plan.

Cp3 has to be smarter. Harden isn't suffering with his antics because harden shot 13 free throws. Cp3 has to make plays for himself and others.

Exactly. Take their shooters out of their rhythm, just like they did ours. When you're worried about landing as you leave your feet, it makes the shot a lot more difficult. Now, multiply that with a bum ankle, and you really get worried.

But woe is a Housotn sports fan. No team in this city has ever employed a team bold and brash enough to counter fire with dire like that.

I'd like to see the Rockets contest their first five threes like that next game in order to get in their heads and for the refs to start blowing whistles on those shots.

Something has to give. Either they blow whistles for both teams, it looks even more rigged, or no whistles for anybody.

He’s smart. He knows the league isn’t going to call it even on them.
