I'm not an expert on the playoffs schedule, but...should the Warriors consider losing game 5 at home? Just to shorten the time they'll be without Curry?

Giving games away is always a risk
If they finish the Rockets in 6 but Green or Klay gets hurt in that game
People will be pissed they did not finish in 5

Heard someone on ESPN say Warriors will play either April 30th or May 2nd. So 2 day difference.

May 2nd if Blazers Clippers go to game 7. Or if Rockets Warriors go 7
April 30th if Clips win in 5

Dumb question that has probably been answered elsewhere: was this the same leg as his sprained ankle?

Great! Now after we win the championship people will put an asterisk next to us yet again.

We should put an asterisk next to us anyway if we beat the Warriors, went to the Finals or won a title. Would we be the first NBA Team to win a championship as one of the most dysfunctional groups ever to win it all?

Kobe + Shaq were rather dysfunctional.... but Kobe + Shaq + Glove + Mailman was more dysfunctional and couldn't win.

...and the 1995 team was rather dysfunctional considering that Mad Max ditched the team.

So the Warriors almost need a 7 game series to give Curry more time to rest.

What will ESPN do? I guess they can always just run Curry highlights and fly the corporate logo at half mast.

Whoops, my bad. I don't know why I was thinking they won in 2012.

They'd rather the whole team rest than extend a series. Warriors aren't gonna give up a game.

Whether they end it in game 5 or game 6 doesnt matter. They have to wait for the portland/LAC to finish. Why risk more injuries with another game? Besides, it will be harder to lose to the Rockets than win.

That's what I was thinking after I posed the question. That 2004 Lakers had they beaten the Pistons would definitely have been the most dysfunctional group to win a title. Everyone was a damn mess and they just got by on HOF talent alone.

The 95 Rockets I think really Mad Max was fine til Drexler came in and took his spot. So wasn't it just one person, it wasn't necessary a totally dysfunctional team. Oh and the Horry trade that never was was that year too right? Horry used it as fuel so it didnt necessary make for a total team dysfunction.
