    Wait I don't get it.

Last week, Kellerman was the one lavishly praising Harden and the Rockets. Now, they've flipped sides.

Do these guys toss a coin to determine who plays face and heel every week?

huh? What was Pelicans' record when Boogie was healthy? Last time I checked it wasn't very impressive. Do you wanna know the real false narrative? AD doesn't have enough help. What a horse crap. Jrue Holiday is a legit good player. And then you have Rondo, Etwan Moore, Mirotic, etc. Their roster is pretty solid; enough of that nonsense.

If you want to win games in modern NBA, elite guards are far more important than elite bigs. How is this controversial? And by that standard, AD will never be better than Harden.

There is no discussion here. I hate how SAS is downplaying Harden’s improved defense specially in the current defense system of him defending the post. Further, he talked about the team not defending well. I am not sure that he even watches the games, neither does Max.

This is definitely scripted, even the arguments are coming from someone else.

SAS was right about Max not knowing Sports, but the same logic applies to SAS. They both need to go talk fake politics.

its not really dumb. up until this year AD was putting up all these numbers yet the nop still continued to lose. that's not elevating a team. but some credit to AD, hes keeping his team afloat after cousins went down. that part of his growth as a player.

They can't even keep their takes consistent within the same episode:

Also, when I say AD doesn't elevate his teammates, I'm not just referring to his inability to facilitate and accumulate assists. I'm talking about how prime Curry - and maybe this year's Harden too - can just warp the whole defense by their mere presence alone. Teams get so caught up in trying to defend Curry and Harden on the perimeter that their whole defensive scheme breaks down.

I've watched hundreds of AD, Cousins, Towns' games and these elite big men NEVER have that kind of impact. Especially AD since he's not a great three point shooter. If AD scores 40 points, that's by him making tough mid-range shots. Defensively, that doesn't do you a lot of damage these days.

AD just is not in Harden’s class...great player, but still clearly a tier below Harden

Dame has been playing like a borderline top 10 player this year, but the gap between him and Harden was so apparent last night

Ad is not better than James Harden.. Has Max flip-flopped again? I thought he was riding with Houston.

Yep, that is what it's about. No real position taken by them. SAS was pissed off when OKC was beaten by our Houston Rockets.

I don't think many people realize just how relatively few people watch these shows... and frankly, most shows on traditional tv anymore.
    See: http://sportsradiopd.com/2018/02/first-takes-move-to-espn-leads-to-record-ratings/

First Take had record year in 2017 and into 2018... which meant in January it had all of 503,000 viewers on average.

I mean, it's still relevant obviously, but on the whole, no one really cares what these guys think, lol

Except for their MVP and other awards votes. Which makes even less sense... since when you consider how buys SAS is, for example, there's no way he's watching more NBA than your average hardcore NBA fan...

Then goes on to say the Rockets are not the best team in the NBA.

I'm guessing it's the soundbyte novelty. King James->pretty boy->trippa dub dub->Big Man with monster numbers. Brodie isn't even mentioned this year with a chance at a "historic" second consecutive tribble double avg.

With that in mind...I think Harden's game is exceptional. He's making plays that easily make the daily top ten but they only show the best.

Duh, there's only one ball. Also, CP3 can't make the WCF. Like, it's actually physically impossible for him to do so. And Jim goes to strip clubs.

    Hilarious these guys... sheer comedy.

Frankly, the medicine to this chaotic and nonsense arguments by the Talking heads, is keep winning.

Max, SAS, etc are now flip flopping on and off the Rockets bandwagon. Something unthinkable even 1 month ago for these haters. I wonder if they’ll let us know how bitter the pill truly is....
