of course he is...without Harden this team would be an 8th seed at best, and that’s only if CP3 were healthy all year and playing like he was last year

Lakers would be comfortably in the playoffs if they had Harden instead of Lebron...I can’t say the same for Giannis if he was on that team because his impact and ability to carry scrubs just isn’t on Harden’s level

"Most indispensable player in the NBA"

Seems like that's pretty much saying he's the league's Most Valuable Player.

Conversation mostly compared Giannis and Harden's coaches.

Budenholzer helps Freak. And MDA helps Harden.

The final answer is easy. Just compare what happened prior to their arrival ....

    - Harden Top 2 MVP candidate
    - Giannis never Top 5 MVP candidate
    - Bucks never 6 games above .500... in the wack East
    - Rockets 14 games above .500 on average... in the baller West
    - Hawks miraculously #1 seed.... due to Giannis' current coach

Harden likely suffered the most injuries to teammates throughout those seasons too.

MDA's previous success detracts a tad from James' case, but Giannis' success is still much more tied to coaching. Besides, Rockets were shooting THREE's and layups before Mike.

While there are still questions about Harden in the playoffs, his record in the regular season is solidified.

He’s made the playoffs every single year since he’s been a starter in Houston (in the toughest conference in the NBA). Lebron couldn’t make the playoffs in his first year in West.

Harden has 4 50 win seasons as a starter on the Rockets. Anthony Davis has 0 50 win seasons.

And Harden has done it with multiple coaches and very mediocre rosters at times.

He has completely changed the Rockets franchise since the Thunder made that horrible trade.

Outside of Curry, there is not a more franchise changing player in the last decade.

In the West, right? Certainly you have to include LeBron for what he did with the Heat and Cavs.

I’m talking about drafted since 09.

I won’t include Lebron because he was drafted in 03.

Before D’Antoni arrived harden was a 29-7-7 player a multiple all star took a team to 50 plus wins on multiple seasons and was a mvp runner up to a Steph curry who led a 73 win team.

What the **** had the Greek freak accomplish before the arrival of bud? This notion of harden is the by product of Mike is one teetering on stupidity. Harden was destroying the league before Mike arrived.

They take turns loving and hating on Harden. It is actually a little weird.

They both said we would make the playoffs without Harden. That's hilarious. We would not even win half our games without Harden.

S.A.S's always angry attitude annoys me even if I agree with what he is saying at the time.

Without Harden if our team stayed healthy we could make the playoffs. The thing is Cp3 is always injured.

I agree. No way we make the playoffs without Harden.
