    The last time Harden recruited someone, he signed here.

    He didn't even send a text to Lebron. If Harden is aggressively and actively recruiting, we have a chance.

    They're communicating but it's a 3 person text chain and they keep ignoring Chris Paul. Sad stuff.

    I could be wrong, but he would be eligible for a bigger deal if we made the all NBA team next year.

    I asked about this a few months back and I was told it can’t happen and sure enough a player can’t restructure his contract ! Sucks

    No pick, no filler contract, no prospects. But we saved on LT :)

    There is zero chance of adding butler and keeping Gordon right?

    Not zero but i'd imagine if it was for Capela it would take a third team.

    Would a Butler/CP3/Harden team plus 5 scrubs beat a AD/Lebron/Irving team or the current Warriors? Im not too sure. Not because of Jimmy Buckets, but because Chris Paul is an aging rectal itch that is only going to get worse with time.

    Chris Paul signing and subsequent SUPERMAX deal will go down in infamy withing the franchise just like Matt Maloney (arent we still paying him?) and Kelvin Cato. I'd add Mo Taylors stupid deal to that list too.

    I pray every night that some team out there REALLY WANTS CP3 and we can move on with the healing.

    If I were going to force a trade to Houston, the first thing I would do is say that I'm going to opt out. Let that settle in for awhile that I'm going to LA, NY, anywhere else except Philly. Then I come back to the table with Philly and say I'll opt in if they'll trade me to Houston.

    So at this point I think there's still a chance.

    @Codman: Thoughts?

    That's what I was thinking when I saw the news that he was opting out.

    Would any team in their right mind prefer just to let a player walk away for nothing or get a couple assets (EG, some picks)?

    James has been working on bringing in Jimmy from probably at least two years, i really hope it pays off.
