So the Cavs weren't willing to let Hickson go for Amare 2 years ago, and now they are...

That's rape by the Kings if true. There has to be a Kings first rounder in there somewhere.

Cavs win big, now they have Jewish people all over the world supporting them. This is their Yao Ming moment.

Trading Hickson makes since because they drafted Thompson, but surely they could get more than Casspi.

Cavs are insanely high on Thompson to be doing this. I'd be stunned if he's ready to start for them this year.

    I. Just. Don't. Get. It.

Cleveland had a chance to make a huge turnaround.. and instead of Jonas Valanciunas, they take Tristan Thompson?!

Good deal for both.....Tristan Thompson will play the most minutes and they get Caspi to fill in their 3 spot.

The Kings can use Hickson behind all their bigs.

For what it is worth I think Casspi is by far the more talented player of the two. Omir has been buried on the bench in Sactown for some time now, and I see him having a breakout year for the cavs. It is a good deal for the cavs. Hickson is trash.

Hickson is very overrated. I think this deal isn't bad for either team and pretty even.

Did Lebron really request this? Why didn't he want Amare?

JJ Hickson is much more talented than Omri Casspri.. there's a reason the Kings included a 1st rounder in that deal. It'll be interesting to see what becomes of Jason Thompson now..

I remember LeBron WANTING Amare, not the other way around. I believe the Cavs ultimately decided to go with Jamison because it wouldn't cost them Hickson and they were worried Amare would be a one year rental.

Why would the kings do this?
Omri Casspi is actually a nice asset and is worth much more than Hickson..

Apparently the Cavs also get a future first round pick. Nice offseason for the Cavs so far.

that's exactly why Cavs should get much more than what Kings had offered.

Overrated players can get you values in trades.
