Just realizing now that the reason he hasn't signed yet is because both he and Tilman have an interest in making this seem like a superstar signing so they're waiting for him to come back and market the heck out of it.

The fact Morey has chased Melo for a while means he ain’t signing until he’s back in the US. They’ll want to make a big deal.

Plus his extended delay is giving Morey heaps of time to get “marketing materials” printed up...

Technically, its an hour or so, but we actually got in later and departed sooner so it was 47 hours and 56 minutes to be precise.

 

It's my friend, I tried reaching out on Facebook, but no response as of yet. I'm assuming that this won't be quite the production as LeBron, will they even have a rally? Hard to tell, I thinking more of a presser and jersey hold up since Melo was a buy out coming off a bad season... Plus, Clutch talked about how good their in house design team is already. Maybe the LeBron material was being made just for fun and caused a lot of people to get riled up and a game of telephone was getting started. Or the Rockets were calling around simply getting prices on large scale printing that one assumed was a TC banner in the works? Can't tell at this point unfortunately...
