Statistics on Klay's Defense Against Harden

    can anyone find any stats to show how poorly/well Harden played this season when guarded by Klay?

    thanks a lot for the info! Based on this, it looks like Harden's shooting right around his career(44%) with Klay guarding him. But I read somewhere that he was only shooting around 38% against Klay. It probably came from some made up stat from ESPN...

    Apparently Klay hasn't fouled Harden since 2016 or something like that? Is that a true stat?

    I am glad that nobody is talking about Klay Thompson as the best shooting guard.:rolleyes:

    This season Harden has an offensive win share 11.6 and defensive win share 3.6. Klay has an offensive win share 3.2 and defensive win share 1.8.

    Harden is three times the player Klay Thompson is.

    Klay is overrated defensively. Thanks to the GSW system mostly.

    So between points and assists, the Rockets came of of Klay on Harden with points somewhere between 45-55% (depending on 3pt ast vs. 2pt ast)

    I dont think discussing this is meaningful.

    Numbers show Exum is a good defender, but when Exum was out due to injury, Harden still played like scrubs.

    Nobody could stop James Harden but himself. Unfortunately Harden always presses the turnoff button himself in playoffs.
