Without having Yao Ming, Aaron Brooks and Chase Budinger out there on the court, i'd expect to have our starters play longer minutes than the usual, but it seems quite the opposite. Example, tonight Kevin Martin only played 25 minutes and Luis Scola played for 30 minutes. Those are pretty much our reliable scorers as of right now, since they've been consistent for the most part. Is there a reason we aren't playing them more closely to 35-40 minutes per game, at least until Aaron Brooks and the rest of the guys come back? I know we have one of the best benches in the league, but when some of your bench players get more playing time than your starters, something has to give...
They all played close to 40 minutes last night, tonight they where headed that way but the game got out of hand late in the 3rd/early in the 4th.
Ahh ok, mb for the "knee-jerk" thread, i guess that's what yall call it lol. Was just wondering what was going on, thanks for helpin out yall. I preciate it.
Well you're right, but i'd expect more than 25 minutes of playing time regardless of a blow out or not.
I agree on Martin. Seems to me we always get the least offensive capable in the game aroudn the time we lose our leads. Martin is usually out while the other team puts in their starters and Adelman never adjusts. Just lets their starters run up a lead on our backups.
Lol. Yesterday's thread were complaining about the bench not getting enough minutes and today we're complaining about the starters need more minutes.
