    Serious Question

Does Tom have a spot in this league?

Good BackUps are hard to find .. . . I like what I saw out of Brock today

    "Proven"....*snickers*

He did look good this past weekend, though....can't deny that...

But I'm not gonna jump to conclusions based on a preseason game against backups in the secondary.

He's also played 7 actual games. I don't think Savage has played more than 3.

If you are basing your evaluation of Brock on the one preseason game, you are making the same mistake others made in declaring Savage the starting QB.

No way we trade him right?:

No chance, at least not this season. Given the O line issues, there's no guarantee that Brock will make it through the year.

If they want to give us a 1, sure. Otherwise, no thanks.

I'd trade Weeden for a future 5th? 4th if he starts more than 10 games...

Yes, it really would take a future 1st for the Texans to trade Savage...But for a team whose NFL OLine is still in limbo...really need to hold Savage for a bit longer.

I'd take any pick for Weeden.

Two second round picks would do the trick.

Weeden is likely a cut so getting any pick for him is a bonus.

Getting a 3 or better for savage is great value.

Its so crazy to be on the big dick side of the table as trade negotiations go on for a QB. This is a weird feeling and Im not sure I know how to converse in these situations. So, I'll say I want a first, a third and a future 2nd, also throw in a turkey sandwich with bacon.

    Yay for QB depth!

Because it costs money and a roster spot for a player who you hope is not active on a single game day.

    Bingo

Unlikely they're willing to give that up, but I would do that trade no problem.

No way they trade him to an opponent before we play.

As much as Bridgewater got sacked last year I'm not sure we want them....though a lot of that was just him holding on to the ball too long.

Not saying they shouldn't cut Weeden, but when was the last time that the Texans didn't lose their top two QBs at the same time for stretches during the season? 2013?
