Looks like our old pal wants out of Minnesota. Not that I blame him, really. He's at the point in his career where the hopes of winning a championship and contributing on a halfway decent team are starting to fade away.

If Minnesota buys out Howards contract, The Celtics could sign him as a free agent ...

    The curse of Juan Howard.....

As soon as we lose him, we pick up several good players.
As soon as Timberwolves get him, they lose Garnett.

(..and that's just based on one offseason.)

I hope Timberwolves trade him either to Suns or Spurs.

Good luck to Juwan on getting traded. The T-Wolves did a good job in getting quality back in the Garnett trade but Howard is an older vet who wants to win and make a run at a ring. Hopefully they buy out his contract. If I were Juwan and really wanted to win I would take a little less then average on a contract buy out in order to become a free agent.

And don't forget that as soon as he leaves Dallas they build a NBA Finals team.

I hope they do trade him or buy him out. I'd like to see him traded to a team where he'll be happy.

They probably intend to hold on to him as a mentor to all of their young guys though. In all honesty, it's the role he's best suited for these days.

Toook them a few years... they had to go through LaFrenntz, Jamison Walker, and losing Nash and Finley and Nelly before that team got to the finals.

Then he went to Denver, and as soon as he left they made the playoffs for the first time in years.

I think our point is, it seems like he has the bad luck of having teams get good players and teams AFTER he leaves.

Wow... I remember there being a thread asking if we should resign him if he's bought out. If we do, we may as well patent the Weisbrod technique.

I think Juwan Howard was also part of that list.
