And to think he was the draft pick the Jazz got from us...

I'm not sure why everyone is assuming Snyder got the crap beat out of him...because he was on the ground at some point? Wasn't Jermaine O'Neal on the ground after he landed that right hook on the fatty during the Pistons/Pacers melee?

Actually Snyder went #16, a pick that Utah got from I think New York. Our pick that Utah got was Pavel Podkolzine at #21... they traded him to Dallas for a future first rounder.

Probably because it says Stackhouse knocked Snyder to the ground. O'Neal slid on the ground and fell after hitting a fan. Two big differences, not hard to figure out really.

Also, it says Snyder was bleeding after the incident.

Bah. I've seen plenty of fights where guys get "knocked to the ground." More often than not, it's because it is two guys that aren't really fighters and one lands a semi punch when one or the other is off balance. I'm not saying Snyder didn't get his ass kicked...but a lot of people are making assumptions based on a report with some serious hearsay. That's not hard to figure out, really.

I think we need to award Stackhouse the next time he comes to Houston for the beating he put on Snyder. That guy is a punk.

This is getting ridiculous. Somebody close to Snyder needs to pull him aside and tell him to shut up. Sloan has tried and others have tried, but if he's riling up players to this extent, dropping racial slurs and talking trash during a loss and riling players up to the point of fist fights out back of a building in a parking lot after games then you have some SERIOUS issues. Snyder may not be long for this league with that attitude.

He was laying down on the ground and bleeding, I would think that is enough reason to believe he got the crap kicked out of him. O'Neal wasn't on the ground bleeding.

Maybe Snyder was attempting a Brazilian Jiu Jitsu leg sweep followed by an armbar.

the difference is jermaine was slipping down in the fan's blood after he hit him while snyder was slipping down in his own. not good.

It was reported in the Houston Chronicle that Snyder doesn't know the words to Happy Birthday.

Snyder on the Rockets? Try Steven Hunter instead.

Mate, he's beat up Jeff Hornacek, Christian Laettner, and Kirk Snider in his career. Talk about tomato cans.
