Kinda surprised the Warriors didn't go after him. Did they not have the money?

Quietly assembled the most talented roster now. Crazy deep at every position, all with players that buy into the team first concept. Very impressive, and I think they're winning the Finals this year

The Spurs are getting more and more depth going into the playoffs.

Not all that fired up about his signing, i think he is vis a vis on the same level of NBA production ability with Rasual Butler, the guy they have to cut to make the room for Martin's signing. Whatever he gave in offense will be given back in defense.

But perhaps in a (very) limited minutes off the bench as a designated creator & scorer -especially considering Manu situation with age & injury, he is the more optimal option for post season campaign down the stretch. Not to mention the struggle offensively that Green has been having this season as the starting SG.

    We have Beasley... lmao

I always felt we have been a very lite lite Spurs organization during the last 17 years.

Just without a dominating fierce PF and C hybrid.

If Spurs signed Beasley and Goodluck, and we sign Kevin Martin, everyone calls Spurs creative and resourceful for reaching into international ranks to add needed playoff depth (whatever that means), and the Rockets get blasted for reaching back into time and spinning our wheels.

That's probably true. But from the most neutral view possible - Spurs sign an NBA starter, Rockets get non-NBA players.

When Harden turns the ball over, it's because he is shouldering the whole offense. When Lin turns the ball over, it's because he has dumb fans.

The way Green has been shooting the ball this season they can use Kevin Martin's shooting.

Everyone's loading up for the playoffs because they fear the Rockets.
