I'm trying to find some discount tickets to take my kids to splashtown today. Anyone know where to to get any? Thanks
I don't know for sure, but a trick I've found in the past is... The motels in the area around a theme park sometimes have coupons to the park. For example, if there's a La Quinta across the street or a few doors down, there's a good chance they have some Splashtown coupons in their lobby. I've seen such a thing many times for other parks. No promises, though. Let me know if I'm right.
Nice. Thanks for the suggestion. If no one else comes up with anything else I'll give it a shot. Crappy thing is I have a coupon sitting on my desk at work but didn't know I was going to be home with the kids today or I would have brought it with me.
Sorry to bump an old thread, but I was talking to a co-worker today about Splashtown. VooDooPope - Did you go last year? How was it? Did you find a coupon? How much discount did you get from the coupon? Would you recommend it?
Not sure what the regular prices for tickets are, so this might not even really be a deal. But from their site, it says online only deal so might be cheaper. Daily Tickets Save on Daily Tickets Adult: $29.99 Online Only http://www.splashtownpark.com/tickets.aspx
Yeah. Saw that. That's why I'm wondering... is that a better/worse deal than the Wendy's coupon?
This is old, but I'm sure there are more such coupons coming out with places like Wendy's Coke / DP etc. Once summer roles into full gear I'm curious about hitting up the Schliterban (sp) in Galveston.
Wasn't Splashtown called Old Town Springs? I can't remember, but it was such a long time ago.. it's been a couple of years since I've been to Splashtown. I prefer Schlitterbahn over Splashtown.
I was out of town away from internet access for a couple days. Thank god I had cable tv to watch our rockets win. I found some coupons at one of the motels on the other side of the freeway one exit closer to town. I walked in and they had one of those racks with trifold pamphlets of attractions in the area. The splashtown one had a coupon on it. I think it was like 5 or 7 bucks off the price. saved me 20-25 bucks. The kids had a good time. I like schlitterbahn better but splash town is closer. It seems to be getting a little run down at least it was last year. They may have spruced it up over the winter. Have fun.
the short lines are a good thing I agree. Has anyone been this year? Did they touch it up over the winter? also a bump to make sure Droxford see's the thread
