    Mchale won't get fired if we get a third star and one of these strong black assistant head coaches that should be head coaches.

    I am baffled as to why McHale hasn't been fired yet. Morey should be as well, as it seems obvious that he is just as responsible.

    For a front office that doesn't think coaching matters, the Rockets sure seem to be interested in a lot of coaches.

    If only they had shown the same zeal for Room Level Exception-available 4-men! They may have been able to advance out of the first round this year.

    Excellent logic. The Rockets also employ a lot more minimum salary players than max dollar guys. Does this mean the Rockets believe Troy Daniels, Casspi, Garica, Robert Covington to be more useful than Harden or Howard?

    Well they have to be interested in assistant coaches since they're now short 2 of them. Also, I think behind closed doors, Rockets ownership and management know that McHale has serious deficiencies as a head coach and they're desperate to cover for them. Why they don't just replace him with a competent head coach in the first place is beyond me, but I guess Morey is hellbent on proving that the system and talent matter more than who's leading the team from the sidelines.
