    I 100% believe this. Tillman seems like a guy that today's players would go for. Les seemed very old school.

    I don't buy this rumor. Lakers don't have their pick, they have no reason to tank. They also won 7 of their last 9. Another reason is that if the pick is I think top 5?, the Celtics gets it. Doubt they wanna help their green rival.

    what does a guy who barely plays 20 mins a game if even that have to do with tanking. the lakers aren't good anyway. the losses are coming regardless

    Read my original post before you try to discredit it. IF the Lakers go clearly out of the playoff picture, why wouldn't they do this guy a solid and let him go to a playoff team? They can use any minutes he is eating up for ZU or Thomas Bryant. Why not make a player/agent happy and get a good rep in the league? This is a new front office. They need to impress ppl.

    Now this is just an insane concept to me (as in dreamy). I like the Lopez brothers. I'd rather have sideshow for the entertainment but Brook is perfect for Houston and Mike D'Antoni.

    Tillman made his off of hospitality. Les with number crunching and cost savings.

    Still glad Les had the foresight to pull in Moriarty.

    The CD years were pretty lean and Houston wasn't considered a hotspot for talent to take a discount on until recently.

    Then we will find another back up option or keep Black. Lopez would be nice but he won't make or break this team from end of bench.
